DAILY PROGRAMMING
Daily programming at WICS consists of individualized plans, but will always include a component of education appropriate to the youth in care, daily living skill building, and independent living skill building. Other components may include therapeutic services in cooperation with local therapeutic programs, drug and alcohol counseling, recreational activities and social skill building.

PROGRAM LENGTH
Because every youth is different and WICS offers individualized programming, a youth’s time at WICS is dependent on the youth’s positive participation in the program and progress toward meeting established goals. While the length of stay may vary, the average length of stay is approximately 6 to 9 months. Depending on a youth’s level of engagement the stay may be longer or shorter than the average stay reported.

LIFE AFTER WICS
WICS works together with referral sources, parents, guardians and other adults who may be involved in the youth’s life to achieve each youth’s plan of permanency. The permanency plan is a part of every individualized plan developed at WICS whether the goal is reunification with family or independent living.
